Here’s my Fall 2017 teaching schedule for group classes. Beginners are welcome at all classes. You will be just fine! Please bring your own yoga mat unless otherwise noted.

Saturday September 16 – 10:00 am class (rescheduled for hurricane weather!)

Riverside Tennis Club
This is an alignment-based yoga class. That means we focus more on your correct alignment and posture, not moving quickly between poses.  Beginners and intermediate students are welcome and encouraged to participate at their appropriate levels. You can drop into any class. Please come about 10 minutes early for your first class.

Yoga Therapy for Low Back and Hips
*At this workshop you will have opportunity to register for small-group yoga therapy lessons on Oct 21, Oct 28, and Nov 4.

Yoga practitioners of all levels – including absolute beginners – are welcome to this therapeutic yoga class specifically to care for your lower back and hips. You will learn how to appropriately stretch and strengthen these areas, without aggravating pain symptoms such as sciatica and low back soreness. You will also learn how to strengthen and stabilize your core and improve your postural alignment.

Holiday Yoga & Gratitude Meditation
Start your holiday season by caring for your mind, body and spirit. We will explore ways to feel grateful on the yoga mat and in daily life through asana (poses), pranayama (breath control), and dhyana (meditation).  This class will provide healthy movement and balance for your whole body, with more time given to the upper back, chest and shoulders – home of the heart and breath, which power our emotions, including gratitude. All levels are welcome, as adaptations will be shown for each pose.
